To make it delightfully easy to order food for business meetings, lunch and learns, office parties, private parties, and wine events; and to make catering as accurate and reliable as humanly possible.
Vivian Boaz, Proprietor
I was born and raised on the Central Coast in a little farming community called Lockwood. I started in the food service industry when I was fifteen. I have enjoyed a variety of jobs over the years between the food service and health industries. I’ve been a lifeguard, waitress, dishwasher, executive chef, restaurant manager, event coordinator, hostess, CNA, delivery driver, and a nanny. I am also a graduate of Cuesta College. Much of my employment has been serving people in some capacity or another and it is what I truly enjoy.
I greatly admire people who learn from their mistakes and persevere no matter what the obstacle. It was my hope to make Entree Express stand out from the rest with the highest level of service a restaurant delivery company can offer.
My other great focus is my family. I enjoy taking life one day at a time and to be in the moment. Between my family and the food service industry, my life is full of moments and memories. I am driven to make them the best they can possibly be.
Mark Boaz, Owner
My name is Mark Boaz (pronounced like boat but with a Z). Along with my wife Vivian, we own and operate Entree Express. I was born in Southern California in 1958 and moved to San Luis Obispo with my family in 1973 when my father took a job with the County. After graduating from San Luis High School I spent the next few years attending junior college, playing water polo, surfing and working service jobs in the area.
I developed an interest in Military service through a friend and enlisted in the National Guard. From that positive experience, I entered the ROTC program at Cal Poly, graduated with a Bachelors Degree in History, and subsequently, achieved a 20-year career on active duty as an Armor Officer and Human Resource Manager.
I loved my Army experiences but really wanted to get back home at the earliest opportunity to focus on parenting my two sons who were in San Luis High School at the time. That decision led me to meet my future wife at the Elks Lodge here and we have a beautiful and bright four-year-old daughter together. We also make a great business team. I hope you will give us a chance to provide for your catering and delivery needs.
